Andrew Morris FCCA ACA CTA - Director

Andrew has a wealth of experience in the accountancy world. After working for a local accountancy practice servicing small owner managed business, Andrew broadened his horizons and experience by joining KPMG in Manchester. There he worked in the Forensic Accounting department dealing mainly with Fraud Investigations, Share Valuations, Loss of Profit calculations and Personal Injury Claims. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Andrew is the vice chair of governors of Bodnant Community School, Prestatyn.

James Hastings FCCA ACA CTA - Director

James joined the firm in September 2000 after a short spell of working for HSBC. Since joining the firm James has qualified both as a Chartered Certified Accountant and as a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation. The Chartered Institute of Taxation is the leading professional body in the United Kingdom concerned solely with taxation.

James is also now a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Rob Kenwell BSc FCA CTA

Rob Kenwell started his working life in Liverpool having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physics. He joined KPMG and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1980 specialising in the field of audit. From 1981, he spent the next 3 years working in the Toronto office of KPMG and then returned to Manchester, initially working in the audit department. Later he moved to the tax department, acting as a tax consultant to Plcs, family companies and individuals.

Rob qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1988 and joined Pritchett & Co in 1990, where he has been involved in every aspect of the firm's work. He is also treasurer of the Conwy Valley Civic Society and a director, governor and treasurer of St David's College, Llandudno.

Shirley Betts

Shirley joined the team in 2001 to manage our specialist PAYE / NIC department and a wages bureau. We can offer valuable added services to our clients who wish to outsource within these areas. Shirley has over 30 years of experience in accountancy and payroll, 13 of which were served in the Army before returning to Wales in 1989. Shirley is a now a Management Member of Payroll Alliance after successfully completing their Advanced Professional Diploma in Payroll Management.

In her spare time, Shirley is actively involved in local drama groups and is a trustee of the Drama Association of Wales.

John Ford Bsc Econ (Hons)

John joined the firm in August 1991 after graduating from the University of Wales, Aberyswyth with a BSc Econ (Hons) degree in Economics and Accounting. John is a keen runner and has taken part in the last 9 Snowdonia Marathons, finishing first in his category in 2014 and 2015. He also made his debut for the Welsh Masters Cross Country team in 2015.

Darren Jones AAT ACCA

Darren joined the firm in March 2004 after a short spell with two payroll / manufacturing organisations. After leaving school he became a football apprentice with Wrexham Football Club and spent 3 years studying accountancy at College alongside a daily schedule of training. After leaving Wrexham he continued his accountancy studies and is now a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Helen Williams BSc

Helen joined Pritchett & Co in September 2014 after working in a finance role within the retail sector. Helen graduated from Aberystwyth University with a first class honours in Mathematics in 2009. She is currently studying to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts. Coming from a farming background, during her school days Helen enjoyed taking part in local Young Farmers competitions and the local Eisteddfod.
